ARTICLES OF GOVERNMENT |
Article I
NAME |
The name of the organization
shall be: The Newton Commonwealth Inner Club. |

Article II
OBJECT |
Its object shall be
to run golf tournaments, provide handicaps, conduct functions
and to encourage new friendships and fair play in competitive
golf competition. |

Article III |
MEMBERS |
Membership
shall consist of persons interested in furthering their interest
and knowledge of golf and in making new friends in a congenial
atmosphere. |

Article IV |
COMMITTEE |
There shall be an Inner Club Committee.
Five members shall constitute a quorum. |
|
|

Article V |
MEETINGS
AND TOURNAMENTS |
Section 1.
The annual
meeting of the Inner Club shall be held as needed. Members shall be notified
at least two weeks in advance. |

Section 2.
The Inner Club Committee shall meet at least once during the season. The
members of the Committee
shall be notified two weeks in advance. |
|
|
Section 3.
The Inner
Club shall hold tournaments for its members and there shall be
at least one tournament at which guests will be permitted and
eligible for prizes. |

|
Section 4.
The Articles
of Government may be amended at any annual meeting of the Inner
Club by a majority vote of the members present. |
|
|
Section 5.
Rain Delays & Cancellations. Once the
lightning warning signal sounds, tournament(s) will be suspended for up to
one (1) hour. If the "All Clear" alert does not sound within (1) hour, that
day of play will be cancelled. Each day of any given tournament will
consist of 18 holes of play. Only when an entire tournament is cancelled
will there be a refund. In the case of a multiple day tournament with only
one of the days being rained out, no refunds will be dispersed. |

Article VI |
DUES |
Section 1.
The annual
dues of the Inner Club shall be $60. Dues for Juniors (younger
than age 18) shall be $20. |

Section 2.
The amount
of the annual dues shall be determined by Sterling Golf Management. |
