Function Hall.
Chelmsford Country Club provides a relaxing
atmosphere in its renovated function hall and is a perfect
setting for all occasions including birthdays, banquets, receptions
and showers and can comfortably accommodate groups of 80 guests.
The cost
for a four hour hall rental is $250, which includes
bartender and set-up fee. An additional bartender is required for
functions with over 70 guests for a $25 fee and additional hours are
$50 each. The hall will only be open and available for decoration
one hour before the start of your event. If extra time is needed
for decorating purposes, additional hours are available for purchase
as noted. Sunday through
Wednesday hall closing time is 11:00 p.m. Thursday through
Saturday's closing time is midnight. (Due to liquor licensing
regulations, no alcohol can be served after 10:00 p.m. Sunday through
Wednesday, 11:00 p.m. Thursday, or 12:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday.) A Minimum Beverage
Fee, less beverages purchased at the event, will be charged.
(For example: Groups of less than 40 guests must purchase a
total of $150 from the bar. If the total purchased is less than $150,
the difference must be paid. The Minimum Beverage Fee for groups
of 40 or more is $200.)
Linen table
cloths are available to rent for $7.50 each. Linen napkins are also available to
rent for $.75 each.
Chelmsford Country Club would be pleased to provide meals prepared by
our in-house chef and menus will be included with the Function Hall
contract and informational package. If an outside caterer is
used, there will be a $4 per person surcharge, plus the caterer must
provide a certificate of insurance naming Sterling Golf Management and
Chelmsford Country Club as additional insured.
Guests may
use their own food, such as cakes, snacks, finger foods, or pot
luck, but beverages may only be provided by the Club. All food
brought in must be fully prepared with kitchen access limited to
refrigeration only (if space is available). All beverages including juice,
coffee, soda, beer and liquor must be purchased through the bar.
The hall is expected to be left in the condition in
which it was rented. All decorations and trash must be cleared at
the completion of the function. Confetti, sparkles, rice or birdseed may not be sprinkled
as a decoration. The manager will inspect the rooms for
cleaning problems or markings on the doors, walls, tables, chairs
or in the restrooms. Extra cleaning charges or damages will be billed
approximately 7 to 10 days after the event.

Our
relaxing lounge has a floor to ceiling stone fireplace to add warmth
to its already hospitable atmosphere. Two televisions are cable
connected so you and your guests don't miss a single minute of the
all-important game or match of the season.
The newly renovated function room is
perfect for special occasions, such as anniversary or birthday
parties, bridal or baby showers, golf outings, company meetings or
functions, fund-raising events and family reunion get-togethers.

The hall
has wheelchair access via the front door, as well as access to the
outdoor deck with furniture for guests who may want to enjoy a
cocktail, or just a breath of fresh air, while taking in the lovely
view of the golf course. If you would like
