The "Buddy"
Classic - Guidelines
Substitutability:
Only players
of the same skill level may substitute for another player. For
example, a "C" player will fall into a specific handicap
range. Only a player falling into the same handicap range is
allowed to substitute for that "C" player.
Missing Players:
If a player
is missing for the Florida or Chapman portions of the competition
(Day 1), the team is eliminated. If a player is missing during
the Best 2-of-4 or Best A/D & B/C competition, the team may
continue playing. The Best 2-of-4 becomes a Best 2-of-3 and the
Best A/D & B/C requires the missing player's partner to count
his ball for the team.
Disqualification:
If a player
is disqualified during the Florida or Chapman portions of the
competition (Day 1), the team is eliminated. If a player is disqualified
after the Florida or Chapman portions of the competition are
completed, the Missing Players guideline applies.
Late Arrival:
If a player
arrives after the starting time of his group for the Florida/Chapman
format of the tournament, the team is eliminated. If a player
arrives after the start of his group for the Best 2-of-4 or Best
A/D & B/C competition, he/she may join the team on the next
hole.
If the late arriving
player has been substituted for, he will not be allowed to join
his group.
Order of Finish:
All Ties will
split the appropriate prizes. For example, a two-way tie for
first place will result in the prizes for the first two teams
being combined and divided evenly among the two teams. |
